When is Milan Digital Week 2026 and what is its theme?

Milan Digital Week 2026 runs from September 30 to October 4 and carries the title “The Generative City.” As in previous editions, the program unfolds through a central Smart City Lab and a network of Knowledge Hubs spread across the metropolitan area, where universities, companies and associations host talks and discussions on the relationship between technology and urban life.

What is e-Novia's Physical AI Investor Day?

The Physical AI Investor Day is the event e-Novia organizes in Milan on October 6, 2026, at Copernico Isola, as its own contribution to the Milan Digital Week program. The day includes a discussion on Italy's role in Physical AI, a look at the Venture Studio model, and a pitch session with the Venture Studio startups currently raising capital. Attendance is by registration, with priority given to investors, corporates and industrial partners.

What does Physical AI mean?

Physical AI is the convergence of artificial intelligence, sensing and physical systems, applied to industrial products, machines and processes to make them more intelligent, adaptive and connected. Unlike purely digital AI, it involves artificial intelligence acting directly on the physical world, for example through robotics, wearable devices or predictive maintenance systems, and it is a field drawing growing investment from international venture capital funds.
