From the strategic partnership between the two companies comes Hybitat, a green hydrogen storage system designed to optimize the local supply of electrical energy.

Last July 7, **e-Novia** and [SIT Group](https://www.sitgroup.it/), companies listed on the Euronext segment of the Italian Stock Exchange, launched an ambitious project: the creation of [Hybitat](https://hybitat.tech/), the joint venture aiming to revolutionize the **local sustainable energy sector** through an **innovative hydrogen generation** and **storage system**.

The combination of e-Novia’s technological expertise and SIT’s experience in heating and air conditioning systems opens the door to a market with strong growth potential.

On July 12, Hybitat’s **Board of Directors**, composed of five members including **Vincenzo Russi**, co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of e-Novia, and **Federico de’ Stefani**, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SIT, appointed **Giovanni Pulice** as Chief Executive Officer and assigned certain operational responsibilities to board member **Loris Barduca**. **Mario Corsi**, currently a member of Enel’s Board of Directors, was appointed Chairman of Hybitat.

Vincenzo Russi emphasized the company’s commitment to **sustainable mobility**: “We deploy the Group’s resources not only in the development of next-generation vehicles, but also in the production of the energy required for their propulsion. Our collaboration with SIT complements our ability to develop innovative solutions with their expertise in energy source management, with the aim of facilitating the local and residential availability of sustainable energy. Through this initiative, e-Novia intends to expand its presence across the new mobility value chain. The objective is to address, through e-Novia’s engineering, Data Intelligence, and Artificial Intelligence expertise, the new sustainable mobility challenges characterized by growing and unpredictable energy demand.”

The establishment of Hybitat enables e-Novia to expand its **impact across the mobility value chain** in response to the growing energy demand driven by the ongoing transition toward electric mobility and the increasing number of zero-emission vehicles on the road. The growing public focus on sustainable mobility, in fact, is not only leading to an increase in electric vehicles, but also to a higher demand for locally generated green energy to power them, thereby reducing environmental impact and supporting a truly virtuous cycle.

Federico de’ Stefani highlighted the role of energy storage as an efficient solution for providing homes with clean energy, essential for the proper operation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems: “By entering this sector, we are strengthening our mission of creating smart climate control solutions for a more sustainable world by reducing CO2 emissions. In e-Novia, we have found a partner that shares the same goals and possesses strong expertise in systemic innovation.”
